Heathen
Heathen return with new album 'Lifetime in Hell' in February 2027

Emerging from the primordial ooze bubbling in the Bay Area, Heathen stands as one of the most important names in thrash metal. Their forthcoming Napalm Records debut, 'Lifetime in Hell' - out February 19, 2027 - sees the California legends firing on all cylinders. With genre-defining albums like 'Breaking the Silence' and 'Victims of Deception', the California legends spread the gospel far and wide, earning regular airplay on MTV's Headbangers Ball and touring regularly with fellow metal heroes Megadeth, King Diamond, Sepultura, and Metal Church.
The band went into hibernation in the mid-90s, but they could not be contained; remaining tactical and purposeful, the band crafted two opuses: 2009's 'Evolution of Chaos' and, most recently, 2020's 'Empire of the Blind'. Now refreshed, refurbished, and reborn, Heathen offers 'Lifetime in Hell', a cataclysmic collection of chaotic catharsis; long live thrash metal.

Produced by Zeuss at Planet Z (known for his work with Accept, Hatebreed, Municipal Waste and Shadows Fall, amongst others), it's a fresh and vibrant album. Storming forward with galloping solos, soaring vocals, and battering ram percussion, the lead single 'Escapegoat' has its roots firmly planted in the glory days of '80s thrash, yet laced with a modern flair. With interlocking guitar harmonies, soaring melodies, and unrelenting drums, 'Goddess of the Light' sees the band forcefully driven, crafting yet another anthem for the ages. 'Glass House' features all the best of their unique blend of NWOTHM with thrash textures, making for an equally anthemic and exhilarating listen. Brooding, plodding, and cataclysmic, 'Lifetime in Hell' trudges methodically with cinematic grandeur. Kragen Lum and Kyle Edissi's guitars are the stars on
this track, adorning ornate harmonies and crushing chugs, with frontman David White's voice
commanding listeners with soaring gravitas and gripping drama. 'The Bitter End' opens with ominous tones before evolving into a full-blown anthem that will detonate circle pits. Lifetime in Hell is thrash at its finest, providing a great starting point for new listeners and a reflective victory lap for those lucky enough to follow Heathen from the beginning.
